A board year at EOS is very educational, challenging and above all great fun. This week Mara will tell a little more her experience as secretary of the board.
The best part of being a secretary and internal affairs is that you will develop a lot of new skills. As an internal affairs you will have a lot of meaningful conversations with your other board members and committee members, because of this you will learn a lot about yourself and other people. You will develop a lot organizing skills and communication skills being responsible for the administrative duties. In a board year you will have a lot of freedom to create and set up your own little projects for the association. You will spend almost every day with your board members, so you will have a little family with whom you can cry and laugh. If you would like to learn more about yourself, develop some skills then I highly recommend you to apply for a board year!
